Raptor Pro

Raptor Pro combines seven parallel and 22 crossed blue laser lines with infrared structured light. It is a PC-connected option for detailed parts, with optional Scan Bridge hardware for wireless capture.

Decision summary

Where it fits—and where it doesn’t.

Strengths

  • Parallel blue-laser detail mode and crossed-line capture in one scanner
  • Manufacturer-stated laser accuracy up to 0.02 mm and resolution down to 0.05 mm
  • Infrared mode broadens the object and color-capture workflow

Limitations

  • Not standalone; a capable host and optional wireless hardware add to setup cost
  • Laser scanning relies on markers and correct calibration
  • Best-case accuracy does not guarantee an editable CAD model or inspection-ready result
  • Allow time for scanning technique, tracking recovery and mesh cleanup
