The update
What was announced
Thunder Laser announced its CO2 Galvo Marker on 9 October. The company positions the air-cooled RF system for repeated engraving of non-metal products, alongside rather than replacing gantry cutters.
Thunder lists a standard 300 × 300 mm marking field, LightBurn and EZCAD2 support, and an open-frame Class 4 laser. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance or safety validation.
The US page lists $8,350 for the machine, with shipping and accessories separate. Regional specifications and packages differ; buyers should confirm the exact configuration and delivery with the local supplier.

Atlas assessment
This is a specialized marking workflow, not a like-for-like enclosed cutting alternative. Verify documented laser controls, extraction and the complete installed cost before comparing it with an enclosed system. No catalog entry or regional stock claim has been added.
