The update
What was announced
Revopoint has launched Trackit SR, a wireless optical-tracking 3D scanner aimed at industrial inspection, reverse engineering and large or complex parts.
The company states a single-frame accuracy of up to 0.02 mm. Three blue-laser modes cover fine-detail, longer-range and deep-hole scanning, while the tracker follows the handheld scanner without markers on the object.
Both the scanner and tracker can connect to a PC over Wi-Fi 6. Revopoint lists up to 2.5 hours of scanner battery runtime and positions the system for workshop and field use.

Atlas assessment
Trackit SR sits above the handheld prosumer scanners in our catalog. For now, accuracy, tracking stability and wireless runtime are manufacturer claims. Pricing and regional package differences also need checking.
